Industrial Doors

The range of uses to which industrial doors and commercial doors can be put are numerous. They include soundproofing room, fire prevention, security, medical x-ray protection, cold store use and for food safety.

Steel and roller shutter doors are usually employed where a high degree of security is required in places like banks, jewellers and cash handling offices.

Flexible doors are most often seen in supermarkets as access points to storage areas. They are also used in factories as low maintenance doors to keep heat and noise in.

The revolving door is commonly seen in hotels and at airports. It has many of the attributes of an automatic door. Its operation can be hands-free or manual. The door can be fixed on a central axis or on an oval track.

Another type of industrial door commonly seen is the sliding and folding door, usually on industrial estates at the delivery entrance to warehouses and at some fire stations. Manufactured from galvanised steel these doors can be opened manually or be powered. They can be secured by padlock both on the outside and inside or can be fitted with a lever lock.
